NanoTek® - Nano Graphitic Composite is an Australian made, Boss Patented Technology

Using State-of-the-Art Co-Extrusion techniques and High-Tech Nano Polymers (the latest in material development) Boss has created the most Advanced MultiLayered Composite Solar Heating Strip Collector available in the World.

Unlike standard Mono Polymer (single layer traditional collectors), NanoTek® is co-extruded, thereby gaining the maximum advantages of multiple melded High Tech, purpose-specific compounds.

The special Matt Black outer surface absorbs 20%* incident solar radiation than a standard solar collector. The Nano-Graphitic inner tubes then transfer the Sun's Energy 30%* quicker into 18%* more water flowing through the larger 8mm diameter tubes.

Ulitimate Blue - Setting the Benchmark for Solar Pool Heating Collectors

Ultimate Blue is Boss Patented technology using State-of-the-Art Co-Extrusion techniques to provide a MultiLayered Composite Solar Strip Collector with the best performance and warranty in the industry.

Ultimate Blue MultiLayered is available in 10, 12 and 14 tube configurations.

Boss Solar's Unique MultiLayered Solar Range sets them apart from those manufacturers who offer Mono-polymer (single material) Collectors. These Mono-polymer collectors compromise on performance and longevity, as only Co-Extruded profiles can offer you the latest and best in Solar Pool Heating Efficiency. Boss offer the highest performance and durability on the market, at an affordable price.

Rigid Solar Pool Heating

Rigid Solar Heating Systems consist of a series of Rigid Panels installed on the roof of a building. They operate by drawing water from the pool and pumping it through a series of tubes within the Rigid Panels. The suns free energy heats the circulating water, returning it back to the pool at an elevated temperature, ideal for swimming.

Manufactured from a heavy-duty, UV-resistant rigid plastic, Rigid Solar Systems are designed to resist wind and weather dislodgement, cockatoo attack, hail damage and freezing cold conditions. They are a long-lasting, efficient and reliable pool heating option.

What is the Difference between Rigid and Strip Solar Pool Heating?

Both Rigid and Strip Solar Pool Heating systems will heat your pool in a similar manner and for similar times throughout the year. The main difference is that Strip Systems are soft and flexible while Rigid Systems are relatively solid and inflexible. Rigid Panel Systems are traditionally manufactured from a heavy-duty, UV-resistant rigid plastic while Strip Systems are usually manufactured from flexible PVC. Rigid Panels are designed to be more robust and durable than Strip Solar Heating Systems and are usually supplied with longer warranties of around 10 and 25 years (Rhino Solar® is supplied with a 25 year warranty*), while Strip Systems are generally warranted for 10 to 15 years.

Both Rigid and Strip Solar Heating systems are cost effective options, paying themselves off in only a few years’ time.
